History
PLASTINORD and its history:
Plastinord's great protagonist is Luigi Riganti. We must go back to the late 1960s to discover the roots of this company which, with its desire to act and create new products, was ahead of its time with cutting-edge ideas, investing even then in a value that is today more topical than ever: concern for the environment. The company's idea was specifically to regenerate nylon items that had reached the end of their life, turning them into raw material for the manufacture of new products intended for plastic injection moulding.
Luigi started working in the plastics industry, and was able to transform a curiosity into a factory, first with a partner then, towards the 1980s, with his children who decided to continue his work, without forgetting the past but opening up enthusiastically towards the future. Innovation applied to its plants has led the company to achieve a high quality standard and to stand out in the market not only for "regenerated" products but also for the production of nylon engineering plastics based on formulas studied for the customer.
The pillar on which work continues is the teaching inherited from their father: maintaining the soundness of the business by avoiding biting off more than can be chewed, carrying forward the concept of business culture attentive to enhancement of the social fabric. Today, the company has its sights set on even more ambitious goals by opening up to foreign markets but behind the brand, the budgets and the expansion of a company lies the story of a family, of many people, whose "passion" over the years has allowed Plastinord to grow.
